Lastly, the book is marketed and distributed. Academic publishers will not only publish books, but also peer-reviewed journals, periodicals and articles. These will generally present original research, review articles and books. Professional scholars usually make unsolicited submissions of their articles to academic journals, where it is then peer reviewed to decide whether to publish it.
